‘Frozen’ to be the most watched movie in Ireland in 2021
Big Cat’s ‘Frosty the Snowman’ is to be Ireland’s most-watched film of 2021, the company has announced.
The Oscar-winning film has been hailed as one of the most important films of the year in Ireland.
In 2019, it became the most-loved Irish film of all time.
The film was filmed in Cork and Dublin, with the majority of its audience coming from outside the country.
Its success in the country has seen it become a global phenomenon.
It has earned more than $300m at the worldwide box office.
The Irish Film Commission has released a list of the films that have been most-listened to in the Irish cinemas.
It shows the film has a cumulative listening time of 8.5 hours and a total audience of about 5.4 million people.
The most listened to Irish film is ‘Fulghum’ with a listening time from 7.2 hours and the audience of around 4.2 million people, according to the commission.
The top 10 most-tweeted Irish films of all-time were: ‘The Hobbit’, ‘The Mummy’, ‘Lion King’, ‘Dumbo’, ‘Sweeney Todd’, ‘Falling Water’ and ‘The Big Sick’.
